And a zombie squirrel. Who happens to be missing one of his arms.

Stubby and Ed

We all know I make weird stuff. Stubby and Ed are no exception.

Stubby is a squirrel. So named for his stubby tail and ears. And Ed . . . . . . well, Ed is his parasitic twin.

Yesterday I was contacted by Adam - the head of Public Relations for Etsy. He passed along an email he recieved from the fucking Head Producer of "Big Brother"!!!!!!!!!!
So I sold a zombie squirrel to a gal as a gift for her husband. I remember this gal as she told me a fun story - a few months ago her husband was going to get a new tattoo. She asked what he was getting and he said he had no clue. He came home with a zombie squirrel on his arm!!! When she saw my zombie squirrel, she had to buy it for him.
Turns out, her husband is Matt, one of the contestants on this season of Big Brother!
WTF?!?!?!?!?
So the show wanted permission to USE MY ZOMBIE SQUIRREL ON THE SHOW!!!!!!
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME????????
Of course I said YES!
I'm not sure when it will air - possibly as early as tonight's show! Apparently the contestants get gifts from home and my zombie squirrel is one of the gifts for Matt.

Albino Zombie Squirrel

Yes. It had to be done.

His tail is just vertebrae, and he's holding onto a kidney with the ureter still attached.

OMG 3-HEADED SQUIRREL!

So yesterday I got a wild hair up my butt and I decided I needed to make a 3-headed squirrel.

Why?

Because it's awesome!

I named him Cerberus. You know, after the 3-headed dog that gaurds the gates of Hades. I think it suits him.

Two of the heads are kinda crazy.

I like crazy.

My Squirrel Wedding Cake Topper

Alrighty all! As promised, I have pics of my finished squirrel wedding cake topper! The gal who ordered this wanted the squirrels to be free standing (meaning, no base). I'm really pleased with how they turned out!

They both are about 4 1/2 inches tall and have tails made from a feather boa.

And his beautiful bride! (she's not a bridzilla, thank god - who could stand a squirrely bridzilla?)

I wonder where they'll take their honeymoon . . . .

A Custom Order

Sometimes I get unusual requests. I'm an unusual gal, what can I say? But this one was pretty off kilter for what I normally do. If you've seen my plush, you know it's pretty much creepy. A little cute, but mostly creepy. So I get a convo from a gal who'd like me to do a squirrel wedding cake topper. Yep. Squirrels. She saw one of my plush squirrels on craftster and wanted to know if I'd do a wedding cake topper. Well, I'm always up for a challenge so I said 'sure'!

I'm doing 2 squirrels in chocolate brown felt with feather tails ('cause feathers are more light weight than faux fur!). One will have a bow tie, and one will have a wee veil! They'll both measue around 4.5 inches tall.
