Went to Joanns yesterday and splurged on the most gorgeous fabric EVER!!It's an asian satin and is so smooth and soft and luxurious that I just wanna roll around in it.
The black has delicate red and black flowers embroidered on it. The red has black embroidered flowers. AND I got some fabulous black lace!
Here's a close up of the red, without the sheen glare. Sooooo pretty!
I couldn't get a good glare free close up of the black.
I haven'tdecided exactly what I'm going to make with it. I have some skirt and costume patterns, and a corseted jacket pattern that would all be awesome!
We'll see . . . . .

That is very pretty damask, and I always love lace!
