So I missed Project 365 yesterday as I was in the ER all day. So I'm posting 2 pics!

Jan. 29. Me in the ER. I had just gotten a dose of Fentanyl and am pretty darn loopy.

Holy Crap I'm in the Hospital!!!!

That's right. I'm typing this from my hospital bed. Woot! Luckily, I was admitted last night to my own floor (remember - I work postpartum and nursery, but my floor also handles GYN patients).

Why was I admitted? I'm glad you asked! Let me tell you . . . . .

So Thursday night around 10pm I had some cramping and gas pain. Felt like I was a little bloated and constipated. So I go to sleep and wake up around midnight, cramping and gassy, and I have a bowel movement (BM). No relief. So I go back to bed and kinda roll around in pain, drift off, then roll around in pain some more. Next thing I know, it's 4am. I get up, still cramping and gassy, have another BM, and decide to take some milk of magnesia to try and move things along. I go and lay on the couch, the pain building and building. I can't sit cause it hurts, I can't lay down because it hurts and I can't breath. At 5am, I finally wake Jeremy and have him bring me the phone so I can call in sick.

I felt like an idiot. I'm all, 'hi Amy. It's Cami. I hate to do this to you but I need to call in sick. I have horrible gas pain and I can't stand up straight.' Duuuuuuuude, I called in sick with gas pain.
So Jeremy takes Ayden to his mom's, and comes back to make sure I'm doing okay. By this point, I'm not. I'm in a great deal of pain and it's only getting worse. So off to the ER we go!
By the time the ER doctor comes to check me out, I'm in tears I hurt so bad. Labor was not nearly as painful.

I have x-rays, blood work, an abdominal ultrasound, CT scan, and then a transvaginal ultrasound done. I had a cyst on my right ovary burst and begin bleeding into my abdominal cavity. Yay! So I'm admitted to be watched and to get my pain under control.

Thankfully, my pain is much better. Not gone, as I have an abdomin filled with blood, but tolerable. I just had blood drawn and am waiting to get the results. Those will dictate whether I get to go home, or have surgery.
Good times.

This little guy is my 4th bear! And I do mean little - he's only 6 inches tall standing (4 inches when sitting).

He's 5-way cotter pin jointed, so his arms, legs, and head all turn. His eyes are knida buggy . . .

He's so darn cute! I just wanna mash him!

This guy is in my shop now! Woot! I'm quite proud of him - especially since he is small.

Adam Lambert = HAWT!!!!!!

Last season's American Idol is the only one I ever watched. And it was because of Adam Lambert. One, his voice is phenomenal. Second, he's freaking hot.

See that? Yum!!

So yeah, I know he's gay and all, but you can't deny his hottness!!!

Nor can you deny his raw talent. And yes, I have downloaded his CD - and it rocks. Not to mention that he has a theatrical background which makes his onstage performances a treat to watch.

So I'm up at 5;30 this morning to get ready for work and do this post and I'm all 'what the hell should I take a picture of?'

See, it's 5:30 am, I didn't sleep well last night, and I haven't had coffee. So I snapped a pic of one of my Oaxacan carvings (pronounced wa-ha-can). Oaxaca is a state in Mexico and I absolutely LOVE these carvings. They are said to represent the dreams of the people doing the carving.

I'd love to do my own carvings. But my dreams can be weird. Go figure.

Project 365 - Self Portrait

Why is my self portrait a horse (or, more accurately, the horse's ass)?

Let me tell you a story. Last night Jeremy and I are getting ready for bed (no, it's not that kind of story). He kind of gets in my way, like he wants a hug or something. So I go to give him a hug and he moves back a little and turns his head side to side, and looks up, staring at me the whole time. So I'm all, dude, what are you doing? And he's all, "if I was a chick, I'd be very upset right now." (and I'm thinking, if you were a chick, I'd totally be a lesbian, and how the hell did you impregnate me 4 years ago??). And he's still kinda looking up so I look at the ceiling, and I'm all, what? Is there something on the ceiling? Are there spiders? There had better not be any spiders, and he puts his hands on his face. Then I'm all Oh. My. God. You freaking shaved!! And he's all, "see? You don't even notice these things." Hey - I notice things. Just apparently not the obvious things.

So, we've been together for 10 years. 10 YEARS. And for the whole 10 years he's had a goatee. Duuuuuuuuuude, he shaved off his goatee and I didn't notice!

So I'm an oblivious horse's ass.

But I'm still awesome.

Project 365 - Official Day 1

Ahhhhh, the first pic for Project 365. This happens to be a KICK-ASS mask that I recently purchased from dullleadsinker (aka Labelle Maverique).

I will be doing a photo shoot in said mask . . . . . and not much else. Which means, alas, the photos won't be appropriate for the 'ol bloggity blog.

Well, unless I wanted to turn my blog into a soft porn site, then they would totally be appropriate.
